Peterborough Cathedral

Yesterday I went to Peterborough Cathedral (1118-1237), not too far from Cambridge - it is an impressive Norman Cathedral (with later Gothic additions) and its façade with three arches is rather unique. It hosts Catherine of Aragon's grave. The painted ceiling is original (XIII century) and The fan vault in the presbytery was designed by the same architect who designed King's College Chapel.

St. Edward the Confessor!

Catherine Queen of England.
